May 2019 (Houston, TX) – eCU Technology welcomes Ethan Ferrell as Vice President of Development Operations.
Ferrell has over 10 years of experience and will serve as lead developer as well as oversee new hire training, software design, and implementation of new software development. Most recently, Ferrell served as manager of programming at First Service Credit Union in Houston, Texas.
Prior to First Service CU, Ferrell worked in various development and technical support roles at Jaspersoft (now TIBCO) and Reynolds and Reynolds.
Ferrell is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BS in Computer Science.

May 2019 (Houston, TX) – eCU Technology welcomes credit union veteran Jessica Smith as Vice President of Client Relationships.
Smith brings over 13 years of experience marketing and business development in the credit union industry, as well as marketing for Credit Union Service Organizations (CUSOs). Most recently, Smith served as Vice President of Marketing and Education at People’s Trust Federal Credit Union in Houston, Texas, where she also supported the Credit Union’s Investment Services CUSO.
Prior to People’s Trust FCU, Smith served as Marketing Manager at ACU of Texas Credit Union, where she was responsible for the marketing and development of the credit union’s key CUSOs: ACU Insurance Services, LLC, and their Keystone Realty Group.
During her tenure in the Credit Union industry, Smith earned the Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) certification in 2016, as well as the Southwest CUNA Management School (SCMS) certification. Smith’s efforts have been recognized with numerous Cornerstone Credit Union League marketing and business development awards, and she was recently recognized by the Houston Business Journal with their 40 Under 40. Smith is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BA in Communications and Public Relations.

April 1, 2019 (Houston, TX) – eCU Technology welcomes Larry Hayes as their new President.
Hayes brings over 20 years of experience in the credit union industry and has a proven track record for success managing for-profit businesses for credit unions. Most recently, Hayes served as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Georgia Credit Union Affiliates (GCUA). He has also served in various leadership roles including as President and CEO of CU Holding Company, LLC, as well as VP of Marketing & Business Development for First Service Credit Union.
As COO of GCUA, Hayes oversaw the league’s for-profit business, Cooperative Services, Inc. (CSI), which includes Members ATM Alliance, an outsourced, fully managed ATM services provider. CSI also offers check printing, card and debit processing, chargebacks and shared branching business lines. Additionally, Hayes managed CSI’s Members Core Alliance, which offers credit unions back-office solutions through Fiserv’s CUnify core processing platform.
Before joining GCUA, Hayes served as President/CEO of CU Holding Company, a CUSO holding company where he managed and offered credit union innovation through a number of CUSOs, including: Beyond Marketing Agency, TruHome Solutions, MemberInsure, TruHome Title, XtraCash, and SimpliFast.
